Anyone successfully work from home and make a decent living after baby was born?

April 282010

I went back to work 3 months ago, my son is now 8 months old. I really want to work from home doing something but it seems like every work from home opportunity is a scam. I can’t bear the thought of leaving him anymore but I absolutely cannot afford to stay home. Does anyone have any suggestions? (Keep it nice please)

I am a mom of two little girls and I have been looking for a "work from home" job forever. You are right, it seems like everything out there is a scam. I finally found something that is working for me. It’s a company called La Bella Baskets. We are a gift basket company. We sell gift baskets, cookies and flowers. I love it. They set up the website for you and do the shipping, my job is to advertise my site to family, friends and strangers and then we make a commission. The great thing is the more sales you get the higher commission you can receive. I can advertise how ever I want online or offline. And they provide a ton of training materials, its amazing!! It’s working out really well for me. At first I got discouraged but its not a get-rich-quick thing you really have to put time into. If you can put 10 hours a week into you will make some extra money. Look at my site below for more information and let me know if you have any questions. My email is listed at the top of my website. Hope this helps!!

I had a baby 10 mo ago and was wanting the same thing you are. After specking with a friend that stays at home she informed me that she took a medical transcriptioning class online. I started the class in Sept. and work on it when it fits into my schedule. You go at your own pace and when your complete with the 640 course then they take a test. They help you find a job and all the companies that they do job placement with allow you to work from home. Im half way through and cant wait till I am able to work from home and have my child with me. email me if you want more info. I can go into detail on the school that im going through and give more details if your interested

I started to work from home answering customer service related emails for a company. I found the job listing on this website http://www.job-results.com/list.html

I’m only 19 but I’m sure any mom can do the same job I do.

I’ve been working for them for 6 months, at first I signed on for temporary work, but after the summer I stayed with them because the work I was doing was a lot easier than any 9-5 job. I worked for 5 hours a day and made the same wages you’d make working full time (8hrs)

I get sick and tired of people asking for work at home jobs and expect to do nothing to make money. You can make money online, you just have to put in the effort just as you would any job in the outside world.

Also, the job I was doing was basically answer any questions people had about my employers product. They provided me with a faq and i just copy and pasted everything. When you work in customer service you get a lot of redundant questions.

Visit this site to apply for a job online, they have a database of jobs and I’ve recommended many of my friends who work part time for extra income. http://www.job-results.com/list.html
